Lakeview Kids

Our goal at Lakeview is to introduce children of all ages to the story of Christ! With classes specific for multiple age groups ranging from nursery to elementary school up to age 11, there is a place for your child to be challenged to develop their faith. The kid’s ministry team provides an open environment where kids can grow and come to know more about their savior. We partner with families to develop lasting relationships that encourage a deeper understanding about what we believe as a church and as the body of Christ.

Times: 10:30AM Sundays and 7:00PM Wednesdays

Drop off: If you are planning a visit to Lakeview, your children can be checked in at our drop-off area down the steps to the left of the front desk prior to the start of each service. Teachers will begin accepting children 15 minutes prior to service start (10:15AM Sundays and 6:45PM Wednesdays). We ask that if you arrive earlier please do not drop off children before this window. This allows our teachers to have time to properly prepare their classroms.

Pickup: We ask that parents pick up their children directly after service. We value our volunteers and their time and want to ensure they have a chance to fellowship with others.

For more information on getting involved with Lakeview Kids, see Sierra or Anthony Chess following services, through email at ChildrensPastors@lakeviewcommunity.church or visit the front desk in the lobby.

MIDDLE SCHOOL Group

For more information on how to get involved contact Pastor Eric via email at egoldenministries@gmail.com.

iMPACT Youth group

IMPACT is Lakeview’s youth group program for high school students, led by youth pastor and long term member, Quincey. IMPACT meets every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. for Bible study and fellowship. The group also meets throughout the year for various events and activities, such as lock-ins, community service projects and the annual trip to Winterfest, a youth conference held in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

1 Timothy 4:12 sets the precedence for our youth as we encourage them to not be limited by their age in making a positive impact within their community. Also, within the IMPACT mantra is the statement “I Act”. With this in mind, we will lead and encourage our youth to take action and share the light of Jesus with all they encounter.

For more information about how to get involved with Impact, see email YouthPastors@lakeviewcommunity.church.

Young Adults

Our Young Adults class for ages 18-27 is a place for open discussion and exploration of God’s word. Join us every Wednesday at 7p.m. as we strive to strengthen our relationships with both God and each other. Look forward to regular meetings outside of our normal time and occasional group getaways to enjoy additional time to grow and connect with each other. We hope to see you soon!

WORSHIP TEAM

WORSHIP TEAM

Lakeview Worship seeks to lead others into His Presence every week.  It is not a performance or show, but a way to bring us ALL into a place of surrender and worship, opening the doors to heaven so that hearts are open to what God has for us.  Psalm 71:23  “My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed.” To get involved, see either Chip or Candice in person, or email them at WorshipPastor@lakeviewcommunity.church

Lakeview Men’s Ministry

Lakeview Men’s Ministry works to strengthen and build Lakeview’s community outreach and presence, as well as support the local needs of the church. They seek to spread the Word of God through acts of kindness to those who are in need. Members also strive to be positive role models for Lakeview’s youth and help them to develop as Christian leaders in our community. The ministry utilizes Lakeview’s varying backgrounds and life experiences to reach the church’s goals, build new relationships and strengthen old ones. Simply put, their primary goal is to maintain the men’s ministry as a valuable and viable part of Lakeview’s congregation and drive results that generate the most positive return on their investment of time and energy, all while glorifying the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
